A little bit of history

Having a pretty unique mix of experience of classical animation, teaching fine arts, art-directing for advertising companies, publishing houses and running my own small branding agency, I came to Vancouver from Siberia (Russia) about 5 years ago, and had started my brand new professional career from scratch.

I've always been loving illustrations, character design and story telling, so I looked for a job in the field of animation. First, I became an animator at The Mercury Filmworks (thanks to my training at the biggest Russian animation studio Soyuzmultfilm in Moscow, it helped). A bit later, I continued at Studio B Productions as Poser, Designer and Colour Stylist. While working there, I also won a character design contest for an up-coming prime-time cartoon TV-show. My next step was a position of Art-director at Nitrogen Studios on one of the world-wide best selling kids franchise Thomas And Friends, TV-serial and DVDs. The latest gig I worked on as Art-director was Barbie DVD at Rainmaker Entertainment.

Also, I've been working on my own Projects. Some of them have already been pitched to the Network. The others are being developed.
